The Champlain Valley Team Peer Growth & Lifelong Learning group welcomed a special guest to class this week—Seven Days Reporter, Rachel Hellman! The class learned about a silly but true story of a Vermont woman who covered her car door in spaghetti, what it was like to report during the historic July floods, and what it takes to become a news reporter.

Everyone came up with so many interesting questions to ask Rachel, which eventually led to a spirited discussion about what creemee stand sells the best creemee in Vermont. (We’re looking forward to summertime when we can try enough creemees to settle this debate.) Talking with Rachel was inspiring and a lot of fun! Thanks for coming to our class, Rachel!
