CCS gives staff members a chance to celebrate and honor colleagues who did something special by nominating them for “Catch-A-Star” awards. Here are the recipiens named at our October staff meeting . . .

 

Emily P – Many thanks to Emily P for her wonderful attention to detail and for contacting us quickly with a confusing medication situation.

Freya: Thank you for listening with empathy and compassion while carefully balancing various pieces of a situation. You always make an effort to humanize people, which is a crucial component to this work!

Lena: Thank you for your stellar team communication. Keep up the fantastic work as a new service coordinator!

Josh: Thank you for always keeping us DSPs in the loop about a particular consumer, whose needs and behavior support strategies are everchanging.

Letitia: It’s always such a joy to see you around. Thank you for your dedication and positivity amid a busy schedule and lots of driving!

Emily K: It has been a pleasure working with you, and you always bring a smile to my face!

Zach: Thank you for your diligent work and for sharing tips and advice about how to best support mutual consumers.

Laurie: Thank you for your calm and thoughtful presence during emergent situations and thank you for always making an effort to check in with both the consumer and the support staff involved. It takes a village!

Julie: Thank you for everything that you do. From triaging phone calls to assisting with paperwork, meetings, and events (and more!), you are truly an unsung hero! 🙂

Andrew – thank you for saving the tomato plants!!!  The rain brought them more tomatoes than they could support, and you brought your tools and fixed them right up.

Zach – thank you for your attention to detail with the med sheets and for reaching out to us before making any changes.  You no doubt prevented a med error.  Thank you!!!!

Marie G – At the retreat at SEVEN OH FIVE!!! to set up. WOW!!! Thank you ❤️

Emily K – Whenever I train with Emily, she is so joyful and delightful to work with. She is fantastic with her clients and provides them with an authentic and ideal supportive environment. I look up to her in so many ways, and she reminds me of how much I want to be a better person every day. Thank you, Emily!!!

Erin – for volunteering at the Benefit Bake

Julie – for her organization, distribution, and monitoring of our passes to ECHO, Shelburne Farms and Museum, and VT State Parks

Liz – what??? Two more students finding new jobs??  That is fabulous – thank you for all your dedication in the youth employment program – and your unstoppable approach in finding valuable jobs within the community!  Well done.

Wendy – thank you for jumping in to support the Bridging program – clearly, they adore you!  THANK YOU!

Anna/Anne – Thank you for your great work in building the new PGLLL Northern Region. Such an exciting time and having you both part of this new programing and steering it along is icing on the CAKE!

Tyler – thank you for all the work supporting folks and employers in navigating challenges and coverage at the job sites.   Such essential work and done so brilliantly!

Julie – Thank you for all you do and the way you do it.   Your approach is always so kind, welcoming, and supportive.  And it is so greatly appreciated.

Tricia – thank you for rocking out the Bridging – what is work, workshop!    So love to see you shine, and you lit up the sky with this presentation!  THANK YOU!

Matt – Job coach extraordinaire!   Thank you for all you do in supporting our folks to be their best at work!
