STOP – and consider the vital impact being made by Direct Support Professionals, especially at CCS but but all DSPs in Vermont and around the country. It’s National DSP Recognition Week so it’s the perfect time.DSP’s have been described as caring, flexible, compassionate, thoughtful, helpful, considerate, creative, mentors, important, fun, critical, accommodating.
DSPs are all of these things and so much more to the people at CCS. So let’s all take a moment to STOP and to reflect on the great work – and for DSPs THEMSELVES to reflect on THEIR role in helping us build a community were everyone participates and belongs.
