New Year, ongoing tradition. “Catch-A-Star” awards honor exceptional work, as nominated by colleagues. Here’s the first list of 2024 as announced at January’s All-Staff meeting:
Jenn W – thank you for just being downright amazing and thank you for all that you do!
Emily P – thank you for cleaning out the Chinese food science experiment that was smelling up the fridge.
Meghan – thank you for always being so supportive to SC’s.
Everyone – who helped with making the Holiday Party a success. There were a lot of you, THANKS!
Tyler – Great job navigating the interventions at job sites this past month!
Liz – For building valuable relationships with the students she supports. Seeing her in action was a treat!
Karen – For her continued dedication to recruitment efforts – it’s amazing!
Emily K and Sadie – thank you for helping to get karaoke and lunch group running again.
Liz – thank you for the extra special help taking care of a dog for an individual. The positive way you navigate this situation is much appreciated.
Karen – thank you for your drive in getting the sign language class for staff.
Liz – thank you Liz for a wonderful interview for VT Digger. I would put Liz’s interview in the top three that I’ve ever done. It was a great conversation – she really nailed it.
