This semester, CCS was a participant in the unique Public Health Partnership program with UVM Medical Center for the third consecutive year. Development Coordinator Mike Reilly served as Community Mentor to a group of seven first-year Med. Students at UVMMC, this year examining the positive health imppacts of community-integrated developmental services on health outcomes for DS consumers. Dr. Stephen Everse served as Faculty Mentor. Today was the last meeting of the semester-long partnership and we got a screen shot of the team! Next Wednesday our team, and all other participants (about 17 groups) in this year’s PHP program will present their final posters (virtually). Stay tuned.
