CCS Promotes Self-Employment Options
The Way2Work Program has developed a hands-on manual to support individuals with developmental disabilities who want to become entrepreneurs. The workbook, called Achieving Self-Employment Knowledge (ASK) offers step-by-step guidance on the path to small business ownership.
The ASK Manual will be presented to VocRhab and supported employment professionals statewide at a series of 7-9 workshops organized by Way2Work. Funding from a Medicaid Infrastructure Grant (MIG) and resource materials provided through Champlain Valley SCORE and CVOEO’s Micro-Business Development program made the project possible.
