Welcome back, Torin Kearns, who has rejoined Team CCS as a Direct Support Professional. As a DSP, he says he’ll help individuals reach their full potential through integration within the community.

“I could not be more excited to rejoin the CCS family,” Torin said. “I look forward to be able to give back to this organization once again and the community that it serves. From the consumers to the staff, the support systems surrounding CCS are unmatched!”

Including his previous stint at CCS, Torin brings five years’ experience working with individuals with disabilities, most recently with ANEW Place’s low-barrier Shelter in Burlington. “Helping individuals feel like they are understood and finding the best way to communicate is something I’ve practiced, and succeeded at, throughout my experience in Human Services,” he said.

Away from work, Torin said, “I love outdoor activities like biking, basketball and long walks/hikes. I also enjoy producing music and DJ-ing. On a lazy off day, you will find me spending hours admiring my cat Merlin.”
Torin is currently completing undergraduate studies at CCV. Originally from Lincoln, VT, he lives in Burlington.
