Meet Ashwini (“Ash”) Sarathy, a first year medical student and CCS volunteer. Ash has offered her time and expertise to write an occasional blog post – “Let’s Talk About Health with Ash” with health tips and information for the CCS community. We’ll share it through Facebook and Web page posts, and community emails.

Ash is one of eight medical students at UVM’s Larner College of Medicine working on a research project with CCS this semester through the Public Health Partnership Initiative.

“I am so excited to work with this wonderful community,” Ash said. “I have had the privilege of working with a few organizations in the past aimed at providing equitable care and opportunities for people with disabilities. I hope to bring my experiences and ultimately learn from all of you 😊.”
