Wednesday’s Poster Session and Community Celebration marked the culmination of CCS’ participation in this year’s Public Health Project (PHP) partnership with UVM College of Medicine. This semester-long research project looked at the “Impact of Staffing Levels of Developmental Services on Community Health.” Our team of seven students deeply engaged with data, literature review, and interviews and focus groups with CCS staff, consumers, and representatives of Vermont Care Partners colleague agencies.
This was our fifth such partnership with the PHP initiative. Congratulations and sincere thanks to our team of students from the University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine Class of 2026. Shown between Mike Reilly, CCS Community Mentor (l) and Dr. Stephen Everse, Larner College Faculty Mentor, the students are, from left: Jacquelyn Ferguson, Haley Bayne, Julia Bernier, Sarah Krumholz, Tucker Angier, Emmanuel Ogunlana, and Meron Yishak.
