Each month, CCS staff nominate colleagues for “Catch-a-Star” awards that honor exceptional service.
Here are those recognized at our August meeting:
Andrew – thank you for the new toaster for the CCS kitchen 😊
Judy – thank you for taking care of a bathroom mess. It was much appreciated, and we didn’t have to shut down a busy bathroom for the day.
Melissa – thank you for all the cleaning you do in the kitchen area without being asked. You’re a CCS Rock Star!
Josh – thank you for being extra polite and considerate on a day a colleague really needed that!
Cindy, Andrew, Julie, Emily P. (and others who may have stepped up) who volunteered when Anna asked for help watering the garden!
Brent and Karen – thank you for all your hard work and extra hours during the transition to a new Executive Director.
Rachael B – For always being so proactive with communication related to any employment support changes. Especially with needs related to submitting individual paystubs to Social Security!
Liz – thank you for handling the oversight of an individual at work while I was away. Your communication with the employer and team was impeccable, and your efforts went above and beyond. It was much appreciated.
Nurse Laurie – for her work with MU and her persistence in getting my CPR recertified.
Lane – for his infinite patience in doing my yearly review.
Delaina – I would like to nominate our new director for her care and compassion working with a dear friend of mine at Howard. She will be a great addition to the CCS family.
Jaime– Thank you to Jaime for starting your day early and administering meds. Much appreciated!
Shelley– Thank you Shelley! You rock it day-in and day-out. Thank you for your flexibility, and your willingness to problem solve. Thank you for your upbeat attitude and your endless humor.
Rachel P – thank you for going above and beyond to bring an individual home even though it was outside of your schedule. You’re the best!
Laura: thank you for designing our amazing CCS Sunflowers shirts for the Dragon Boat team. They look incredible!
Tyler, Anna, Wendy, Bill, and Laura – thank you all so much for rolling up your sleeves to put together the seed orbs for our event today. It wasn’t the best smelling job, but you all brought great fun to the work. Each one of you is so appreciated!
Jamie – thank you for catching a flaw in a bubble pack so that important medication was not missed and for your excellent attention to detail and follow through!
Dragon Boaters– thank you so much for representing CCS in this strong way. No matter what happens we’re all winners. Enjoy it all!
