CCS is pleased to welcome Miranda Orcutt as a new Direct Support Professional (DSP). She brings experience from previous positions working in outpatient and inpatient medical settings and from volunteering with nonprofits. Most recently completed an AmeriCorps service year at Champlain College’s Office of Diversity & Inclusion. Miranda studied neuroscience at UVM.

“I am excited to join the CCS community and to build new connections, and I look forward to living out my commitment to explore and work towards what it truly means to put diversity, equity, and inclusion into practice,” Miranda said.

Miranda adds she is currently taking a local American Sign Language (ASL) level 1 course and is interested in learning more about ASL and Deaf culture. “Other activities I enjoy include catching up with friends, cooking, reading, and working out, or doing chores to K-pop music,” she said.
Miranda grew up in Vermont, and currently lives in Burlington.
