We are excited to welcome Christine Leonard to CCS as a Residential Direct Support Professional. She will be providing direct support to a young woman with Autism.

“I’m looking forward to being present in my client’s life experience and to provide support for her continued challenges and adventures,” Christine said.

Originally from New Hampshire, Christine relocated to Burlington in September. She brings a broad range of experience in health and human services. Christine served in the U.S. Armed Forces as a medical technician and also recently accepted a position as a data analyst/epidemiologist for Healthy Homes with VT Dept. of Health. A long-time volunteer in New Hampshire, she now volunteers with ANEW Place in Burlington.

Christine holds multiple degrees: BS in Business/Computer Information Systems from Arizona State University; BA in English/Comparative Literature/Creative Writing, from New England College; MA in Public Health Policy and Decision Sciences from The Dartmouth Institute.

When not at work, Christine said, “I enjoy being outdoors with my Meetup group and Vermont Veterans Ventures – hiking, bicycling, snowboarding, nordic skiing and snowshoeing, and rock and ice climbing. I also enjoy time spent with my young adult children. I’m also a fan of indie and foreign movies. I belong to the Burlington Quaker Friends Meeting.”
