The Champlain Community Services (CCS) Board of Directors is pleased to officially welcome Delaina Norton as its new Executive Director.
“Delaina brings a wealth of experience in the Vermont Developmental Services system-of-care, a proven track record of statewide leadership, and a deep commitment to our mission,” said Zoltan Sachs, Board President.
With over thirty years of dedicated service in the human services sector, Delaina Norton brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the service systems within the Agency of Human Services. Her career spans leadership roles in Vermont’s Designated Agencies, Specialized Service agencies, and various community partner organizations. Her work has been instrumental in fostering inclusive, respectful, and dignified services for all individuals.
Sachs praised the Search Committee, co-chaired by Bethany Dubuque and Sarah DeBouter, for a rigorous selection process. He said CCS is well-positioned for the future.
“We are confident that under Delaina’s guidance, our organization will continue to grow and thrive, and make positive impacts in the lives of those we serve,” Sachs said. “We have a lot of work ahead, with fiscal and staffing challenges and potentially seismic changes to service delivery. But we’re confident to move forward—together.”
