Outstanding and inspiring performance from the CCS Sunflowers at Sunday’s Dragon Boat Festival at Waterfront Park in Burlington! CCS was beautifully represented at this wonderful community event (and the Sunflowers also raised a bunch of money for cancer research).
Though (fittingly?) understaffed compared to some competitors’ boats, their paddling was strong and well-synched, and they showed great strength and grit, finishing each heat with amazing closing speed.
