Spencer Mooney has joined the CCS staff as a program manager who will be providing individualized supports to a consumer in their apartment. Spencer brings nearly 10 years of human services experience, including work as a Shared Living Provider and as an instructor and behavior interventionist in a number of alternative schools.
“I’m happy to be working with adults again,” Spencer said. He said his alternative school work was primarily with middle school age youth and, while he enjoyed that age group, he has been looking forward to working with adults.
Outside the office, Spencer has a number of interest, including music — he collects vinyl albums and also does radio shows. A fan of classic horror films he says, with Halloween, “October is my favorite month. I try to watch a different film each night of the month.” Originally from Connecticut, Spencer is living in Barre and about to move to East Montpelier.
