Executive Director

Champlain Community Services (CCS), a Specialized Service Agency located in Colchester VT, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Director to lead our organization into the future. CCS’ mission is to provide essential supports to people with intellectual disabilities and autism, building a community where everyone participates and everyone belongs. This role oversees operations, sets strategic direction, builds strong relationships with community partners, manages a talented, experienced and committed staff, and collaborates with and reports to an engaged and dynamic board of directors.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in management and leadership, effectiveness with non-profit budgets and fiscal management, familiarity with the Vermont State System of Care Plan, an understanding of nonprofit legal and regulatory compliance, proficiency in Medicaid regulations, ability to represent the agency’s interests at both the State and local levels, and an appreciation of the unique history of Developmental Disabilities System in Vermont.

Compensation starts at $110,000 and is commensurate with experience. We offer a competitive total compensation package, including generous paid time off, health and dental benefits, retirement match, and opportunities for professional development.

This is a grant funded position. Salary $60,000 annual plus mileage reimbursement.

Youth Job Coach

In-Home Shared Living Provider: A perfect solution for housing and employment! Live with an individual to provide residential supports and make a positive impact in their life, and yours. This individual enjoys watching gameshows, relaxing at home and go out to coffee shops. The ideal candidate will be flexible, patient and have the desire to make a difference in someone’s life.

Respite Support Workers

Open your accessible home to a delightful gentleman in need of evening and weekend overnight respite.  A clean, safe, caring and wheelchair accessible environment as well as an extra bedroom is required. Weekends and days are flexible with generous pay available for both hourly and 24 hour shifts. A portable ramp is available for individuals who have a limited number of stairs at their home as well as a wheelchair accessible van.  The ideal candidate will be kind, compassionate, and comfortable with assisting with daily living skills.

Essex family is seeking respite for young adult who wants to get out in the community to explore his interests. Support in transportation to and from work may be needed, and transportation from a college campus in Williston two afternoons a week. This young adult is very articulate, has several hobbies and many interests. He would like to get out of the house more often and do a variety of things. This is a great position for someone looking for a few extra hours a week.

CCS is seeking an individual or couple to provide both scheduled and occasional emergent respite care to individuals with disabilities. Ideal candidate will have background in the field of human services and at least one available bedroom. Medical/nursing experience a plus. Compensation, training, handicap alterations to the home as needed, and ongoing supervision provided. Enjoy the flexibility of a rewarding position that fits your lifestyle – we’ll work with you to make it work!
