Essex family is seeking respite for young adult who wants to get out in the community to explore his interests. Support in transportation to and from work may be needed, and transportation from a college campus in Williston two afternoons a week. This young adult is very articulate, has several hobbies and many interests. This is a great position for someone looking for a few extra hours a week. Shared Living Provider
CCS is seeking an individual or couple to provide residential supports to an individual with an intellectual disability in your home. A generous stipend, paid time off (respite), comprehensive training & supports are provided for the following positions:
- Support a personable man in your accessible home. This individual enjoys fishing, being out in nature, taking ferry rides and socializing. The ideal candidate will support him in accessing his community and with activities of daily living
- Support a humorous gentleman with autism who enjoys walking, crunching numbers, drawing and bowling.
- Support a kind gentleman who enjoys being involved in the community and in social settings. The ideal candidate will be patient, flexible and have strong interpersonal and communication skills. Person-centered facilitated communication training is provided.
