Champlain Community Services was founded by the families of people with intellectual developmental disabilities who sought a richer life and more options for their loved ones. We are proud of, and remain true to, our roots as a small, family-centered organization.
CCS has developed a unique sense of internal community and a strong support system for the individuals we work with and their families.
We bring this model of belonging and mutual responsibility to the larger community as we extend our vision and partnerships. And we know it is only with full engagement with within our broader community that our mission – to help people with intellectual disabilities experience all of life’s opportunities – will be realized.
